Nestled along the western coast of India in Khed, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra M/S Pravesh Seafood Private limited has etched its name as the country’s premium frozen Seafood exporter. We have been in the sea food industry from the past 35 years.

M/S Pravesh Seafood Private limited is the brain child of Mr. RaviKumar whose journey from a dedicated employee working in a seafood factory to becoming a successful entrepreneur is an inspiring tale of passion and commitment. He joined hands with his long-time close friend and well-wisher Mr. Vimal Sobti and started this processing venture.

The processing plant is situated at Additional Lote Parshuram, MIDC, Khed, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. It is built in accordance with the latest National, EU, Russian, China, USA and other International Norms to ensure process and quality control.

The Company’s success is driven by its use of advanced technology and streamlined processes at every stage from sourcing, processing, packaging to reaching consumers. We ensure freshness, consistency and satisfaction with every shipment.

Our Infrastructure

  1. Our production facility is equipped with state-of-the-art industry leading infrastructure best suited for the Seafood processing.
  2. Our processing unit is strategically located near coastal area of Ratnagiri and hardly two and a half hours from Mumbai so that we can take advantage of raw material from Ratnagiri and sometimes from Mumbai. This will ensure minimal time between Catch and processing of Seafood thus ensuring highest quality produce.
  3. Flake Ice Plant: We have in house production of flake ice up to 20MT per day, ensuring a continuous supply of ice to handle fresh catch.
  4. Plate Freezer: We have One plate freezer with a maximum capacity of upto 15MT per day.
  5. Blast Freezers: We have four blast freezers with a total freezing capacity of approximately 80MT per day.
  6. IQF Technology: We can do value addition products with IQF technology and have a IQF line of 750 Kg/Hr, integrated with a glazer, hardener to produce premium value-added products.
  7. Cold Storages: Our cold storage facility maintains consistent temperature between -20 degree Celsius to -25 degree Celsius. The total storage capacity is approximately 3000 MT.
